Hi there, I am a PhD student at Macquarie University, I have been granted a 3.5 year iMURS Scholarship starting from October 2006 to study virus evolution. I am mostly interested in negative stranded RNA viruses such as influenza virus and bunyaviridae. My supervisory panel is made of Associate Professor Michael Gillings and Professor David Briscoe. To help me with phylogeny stuff, Dr. Mark Gibbs from the Australian National University has been appointed as an adjunct supervisor.
